I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia when I was 35.  I am now 60.  I have lived with its symptoms and suffered from ignorance about the disease as well as the disease itself for 24 years.  Only when the commercials began on TV did some attitudes begin to change.

I named this blog "whether we live or survive" because there are days that I live life to the fullest and other days where I do the 'white knuckle hold' and focus on survival.  That's the way it is with many who deal daily with chronic illness.

Welcome.  Pull up a chair, grab a cup of tea, coffee, water, etc. and sit a spell with me.
